Work In Progress Rattles

If possible, I really like to make my own sacred tools. I am currently working on making some rattles for calling in my helping guides.

They are a work-in-progress right now. The handles of the rattles are deer antlers, and the heads are elk hide. They are filled with dried corn and the necks of the heads are wrapped in green suede. The rattle on the left says it is done for now, and the rattle on the right says it is not. So I will need to work on what I am going to add to it. So of course that means a shamanic journey to talk to deer and elk and see what they have in mind. Respectful thanks to deer and elk for being on this journey with me.

Bring kind to your house spirits
